Lance started as the protégé of his mentor, Johnnie Williams III, International Speaker & Brother to Jerome "J.Y.D" Williams, former NBA Player in 2008 after​ completing a public speaking course at Humber College in 2007.
Born in Toronto, Canada to parents of Jamaican-Caribbean decent, Lance currently serves as an Elder at Rhema Christian Ministries. He graduated from Humber College and obtained a diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2016. Lance is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Guelph-Humber studying Early Childhood Studies as of 2022.

Since then, Lance started speaking in schools, churches, events, conferences on a word of mouth basis, every month for more than 15 years. In 2011, Lance became a vision carrier of SPEAKERS UNIVERSITY as he believes the Holy Spirit gave him this vision, which is about teaching people public speaking through internal workshops in satellite locations, led by on-site leaders. Lance was also inspired by the words of his mentor, "help children see the bigger picture" & "sell education."
